A tragic shooting in the early hours of Saturday has left at least 11 people dead and 14 others injured in Pretoria, South Africa.
Police confirm that the attack took place at Saulsville Hostel in Atteridgeville, west of the city, when gunmen opened fire around 4 a.m.
Among the victims are three young minors, including a 3-year-old boy, while a 12-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl also lost their lives.
At least 14 more people were wounded during the shooting and are currently receiving treatment.
South Africa continues to battle high levels of gun violence and remains one of the countries with the highest murder rates in the world.
