British actor Idris Elba has praised Lagos as “the most amazing city in the world,” applauding the Nigerian beautiful landscape, vibrant lifestyle, creativity, and cultural spirit.
The award winning star shared his thoughts during an ETalk TV interview on the red carpet at the TIFF Tribute Awards on September 7, recalling his experience while filming Dust to Dreams. He described Lagos as a city overflowing with incredible talent and revealed that he left with “a wealth of unforgettable memories.”
Elba highlighted one special moment when British singer Seal, who is of Nigerian descent, performed while playfully using a Nigerian accent, calling it one of the standout highlights of his trip.
