Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has shared details of a troubled past relationship with a fellow celebrity, explaining how secrecy and lack of respect eventually caused its collapse.
During an appearance on Joe Budden’s podcast, Tiwa revealed that her former partner demanded their romance be kept private, arguing that going public would limit his ability to “work the room” at events.
She explained that the constant secrecy left her voiceless, as she often had to watch him freely flirt and socialize with other women, while she couldn’t call him out.
