Israeli Embassy Extends Support to Orphans in Nigeria

The Embassy of Israel in Nigeria has pledged to enhance the welfare of orphans across the country.

Deputy Chief of Mission, Inbar Garden, made this known in Abuja while presenting food items to the Hope for Survival Orphanage in the Gishsiri community of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

She explained that beyond strengthening ties between Nigeria and Israel, the mission is dedicated to improving the lives of the orphans.

Garden said, “We just want to ensure the orphans have a better future and are not taken for granted. It takes a person with a giant heart to give themselves to society and make other people’s lives matter.

“I urge you, children at the orphanage, to remain focused on your future, because you are not going to stay in this place forever. Just dream big, say it loud, and go after your dreams until they are fulfilled.”

The Proprietress of the orphanage, Ruth Ibrahim, also expressed gratitude to the embassy for the generous support.
