Gaza Health Ministry Accuses Israeli of Hiding Explosives in Children’s Toys

Gaza’s Health Ministry alleges that Israeli troops have placed explosive devices inside children’s toys throughout the enclave, leading to deadly injuries when touched.

According to Munir al-Bursh, the Director-General of Gaza’s Health Ministry, the Israeli military has been using booby-trapped toys in several parts of the Gaza Strip, deliberately putting children at risk.

He said these items are left in areas where children can easily reach them, and detonate once handled.

The ministry states that since the ceasefire on 11 October 2025, at least 238 Palestinians have lost their lives and around 600 have been injured due to continuing Israeli attacks.

During the same period, the bodies of 510 individuals have been recovered from beneath destroyed buildings.

In addition, the Health Ministry reported that on Monday it received 45 more bodies from Israeli authorities, bringing the total number of returned bodies to 270.
