British Defense Minister John Healey said that he and his German counterpart Boris Pistorius would present the project at a summit in Germany. The statement continued: “At a time when the world is facing great challenges, NATO and other European countries are working together and united. This partnership will help us to develop the military, create jobs, increase knowledge and investment between the UK and Germany.” The two ministers are also expected to discuss the purchase of weapons used to monitor maritime security, and that Germany will buy equipment used by soldiers to cross rivers and other difficult terrain that has been developed in the UK.
