Chef Dammy has refuted rumours suggesting she intends to cook the largest pot of beans following Hilda Baci’s record breaking feat with the largest serving of jollof rice.
Dammy, currently studying at the Hospitality Business School in Lagos on a full scholarship while pursuing a professional culinary diploma, addressed the speculation in a social media post.
She made it clear that she has no plans of attempting a record involving beans.In her words: “Some of my classmates are still telling me, ‘Dammy, do you truly want to cook beans?’ Like, no! Why would I do that?”
She went on to celebrate Hilda’s achievement, describing it as a proud moment for Nigeria and the African continent.
