Craydel, a Kenyan education technology platform improving how African students secure university placements abroad, has taken a big step forward with its entry into Burundi and Tanzania. These new launches mark its sixth and seventh markets across the continent, making its place as the first Kenyan edtech startup to build a truly pan-African presence.
The expansion follows Craydel’s earlier rollouts in Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe. With demand for overseas education surging, the platform is tapping into a growing opportunity, an estimated 400,000 African students head abroad for studies each year, a market that has long been underserved by traditional education agents.
