Qudus Fakoya Olatunji, widely known by his stage name Qdot, was reportedly assaulted and robbed at gunpoint inside his Lagos residence on Sunday.
The terrifying incident was said to have taken place around 2:30 am when armed intruders broke into his home.
The attackers made away with phones, laptops, and allegedly withdrew money from his bank accounts. They were also reported to have gained access to his social media handles.
Talent manager Dami Adenuga confirmed the robbery in a post on X, cautioning the public to ignore any suspicious messages or financial appeals coming from the artiste’s accounts.
He wrote: “Nigerian singer Qdot was attacked and robbed at gunpoint in his home around 2:30 am today. The armed robbers carted away his phones, laptops, and transferred all funds from his accounts. They also gained access to his social media accounts. The public is hereby urged to disregard any suspicious messages, posts, or financial requests coming from Qdot’s accounts at this time.”
As of the time of this report, the Lagos State Police Command has not released an official statement regarding the incident.
