Real Madrid Players Surprise Hospitalised Children With Christmas Gifts and Smiles

As they do every year, Real Madrid once again visited children receiving treatment in hospitals across the Spanish capital. Players and coaches from the club’s first-team football and basketball sides, alongside members of the Real Madrid Foundation, shared gifts, smiles and special moments with the young patients.

Xabi Alonso, Sergio Scariolo and Pau Quesada paid a visit to Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, while Carvajal, Llull and Misa stopped by Sanitas La Zarzuela University Hospital. At Blua Sanitas Valdebebas Hospital, Valverde, Tavares and Teresa met with children and their families. In total, more than 2,000 hospitalised children and young people experienced an unforgettable day as they met their favourite stars, collected autographs and posed for photos.

The visits form part of the Real Madrid Foundation’s annual campaign, No child without a present at Christmas. The initiative aims to spread joy, encourage positive values and help boost the emotional well-being of children through the power of sport during the festive season.
