A disturbing video showing a teacher repeatedly slapping and striking several young students inside a classroom at a private school in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur has sparked massive outrage online.
The footage, recorded at LBS Public School in Bhaluahi, shows the teacher calling the children one by one and slapping them forcefully, beating them with a stick, and shouting at them.
In the clip, she is heard saying, “You people are being beaten every single day. You always say ‘Ma’am, I’ll learn it tomorrow.’ I’m asking the same question again and again, yet you still can’t reply.”
The teacher keeps hitting the students while yelling, “Is the entire responsibility mine? You don’t want to study. You only want to show off in everything.”
The video has enraged viewers on social media, with people demanding strict action and questioning why no staff member stepped in to stop the assault.
An official confirmed he was informed about the incident through social media and ordered the Block Education Officer, Badlapur, to take urgent action. Speaking to Aaj Tak, he said a notice has been sent to the school and legal steps will follow based on their response.
