The delayed 2024 African Nations Championship has now reached the knockout stage, with the quarter finals playing off this Friday.
In a surprising twist, all three co-hosts, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, have stormed into the last eight after finishing top of their respective groups.
The quarter final action will unfold across two days.
On Friday, Group A leaders Kenya will battle Madagascar in Nairobi, while Group B winners Tanzania clash with Morocco in Dar-es-Salaam.
Saturday’s fixtures will see Group C champions Sudan take on Algeria at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar, followed by Uganda locking horns with Senegal in Kampala.
The victors will progress to the semi finals scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, before the grand finale takes center stage next Saturday, August 30, at Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.
