The management of
1:55 AM Ltd has assured music fans of major changes in this company that
already works with various artists, and has even hinted at updating the list of
artists they work with.
In a statement
they released, they said that they have started making changes to both the
management and the list of artists they will continue to work with.
They said,
“Changes are necessary and some have already begun to be implemented.
Information regarding what will be done in the management and the artists we
will work with will be announced in the near future after internal meetings
within the company.”
These are changes
that they believe will strengthen them in continuing to develop this company
that already supports various artists.
The management of
1:55 AM Ltd reiterated this in a statement they issued to the media in order to
dispel rumors that had been circulating for days after Coach Gael’s statements.
The man who
founded 1:55 AM Ltd had recently said that he had been spending money for a
while, helping people out of compassion but without looking at his own
interests, so he planned to start looking at what would benefit him more.
Many people on
social media expressed concerns that artists it had been supporting would lose
out.
However, in
clearing up the confusion caused by this news, the management of the company
announced that they were continuing to operate as usual, and took the
opportunity to explain that the changes they were making were not a sign of
closure, but a way to continue to progress and strengthen their direction.
They said “1:55AM
is still operating well and continues to focus on its goal of investing in and
developing the talents of Rwandan artists. However, it is preparing major
internal changes in order to strengthen our operations and vision.”
The company
reaffirmed its relationship with Bruce Melodie, thanking him for continuing to
work hard as an artist, believing that he has also contributed a lot to them.
In the statement
they released, they also reminded artists and producers who were unhappy with
the company to approach the management and part ways peacefully.
