The Children's Festival, an annual tradition in Nevada City, will be held on ,
The festival will immerse children in the culture of the Renaissance period through art, music, entertainment, games, and activities.
The festival will feature approximately 20 craft tables where children can create their own Renaissance-themed works of art, including crowns, shields, magic wands, and tunics.
There will also be a variety of Renaissance characters, including a queen, a knight in shining armor, a wizard, and a troll guarding the bridge.
In addition to the craft tables and characters, the festival will also feature music, magic, and other activities, including Pirate School, catapults, and a gigantic castle maze that kids can paint inside and out.
The festival will have two sessions: a morning session from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and an afternoon session from 2-5 p.m. Admission is $3.00 per person.
