The Federal Ministry of Education has announced that it will no longer use paper for its official activities and correspondence. This decision was revealed by Professor Tahir Mamman, the Permanent Secretary representing the Minister of Education, during the National Council on Education (NCE) meeting in Abuja.
The conference, themed “Innovation, Digital Technology, and Entrepreneurship: Tools for Educational and National Development in the 21st Century,” highlighted the ministry’s commitment to embracing modern technology.
Nasir Sani Gwarzo, the Permanent Secretary, stated that a digital communication platform has been established to handle all ministry activities. This shift aligns with the global move towards digitalization, ensuring the ministry keeps pace with technological advancements to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery to Nigerian citizens.
