CHAN 2024: Amavubi added four new players ahead of Djibouti play-off

After losing to Djibouti 1-0, the coach of the national team, Frank Torsten Spittler, added Kanamugire Roger, Nizeyimana Mubarakh, Niyonkuru Sadjat and Twizerimana Onesme to the team that will play the play-off game in order to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Onesme in particular scored three of the four goals Vision FC defeated Marine on Saturday. Tigers will play a play-off against Djibouti on Thursday 31 October 2024 in a two-goal tie to advance.

 The team that will continue between Rwanda and Djibouti will face the team that will continue between South Sudan and Kenya, in the second qualifier that will be played in December. 

The CHAN 2024 finals will be held in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya between February 1 and 28, 2025.
