The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip
announced that in the next 48 hours, the hospitals that serve it will close
their doors or reduce their services due to the lack of fuel.
The Ministry explained that the hospital
ran out of fuel due to the fact that the Israeli army continues to attack the
area, where they closed the normal route through which the fuel is used to get
electricity to the hospital.
In a press conference held on November 22,
2024, as reported by Al Jazeera, Dr. Marwan al-Hams, director of all the
hospitals in Gaza, explained that in 48 hours the consequences of this war are
going to get worse.
He said, "We are issuing an urgent
warning that all attacks in the Gaza Strip will stop operations or reduce their
services within 48 hours due to the closure of the fuel entry points."
Israeli forces continue to attack Gaza
after the United States rejected the resolution of the United Nations Security
Council to stop the war in the area.
After an investigation by the long-standing
Prosecutor's Office in Gaza, the International Criminal Court, ICC, on November
21 issued arrest warrants for the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu,
and the former Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant.
The ICC explained that there are strong
grounds to suspect Netanyahu and Gallant of war crimes and crimes against
humanity in Gaza from October 8, 2023 to May 20, 2024.
The prosecutor's office of this court explained that it continues to investigate the crimes committed in this area, and that when it is finished, it will ask it to issue additional warrants to arrest those suspected of involvement.
On November 21, Netanyahu announced that the State of Israel does not respect the ICC's decision and that it strongly opposes it. He explained that it is also based on the hatred this court has for Israelis.
On the war crime of starving the people of Gaza, Netanyahu showed that it is baseless because their country sent them 700,000 tons of food, and gave them many messages asking them to leave the dangerous places.
