Cyusa Chaste, who graduated from SOS High School in Kagugu, created a machine known as a 'robot' that easily guides people.

It is a robot designed in such a way that it is given the basic information of a certain place, and it guides you all the way to the place you want to go without leaving it, and it is controlled with the help of the phone.

The desire to create this innovation rose in Cyusa Chaste, who wants to create solutions for the public. The idea to create this robot came after he faced obstacles to reach his desired goal, he invented the skills he was not given in school.

Have you ever wanted to go somewhere but lost track of the fastest way to get there? Having trouble finding your way through a building with hundreds of rooms? This is what Cyusa came to solve.

In an interview with KURA, Cyusa said that he visited various websites including YouTube that gave him information on how to operate this machine.

When he started doing it, he first taught it all the ways to a certain place, so that anyone who wants to go there clicks on the designated place, and it guides him to where he wants to go quickly.

This young man studied 'Software' technology but continued to use his brain to discover new things that would help the Rwandan society, because usually other robots are imported from outside the country.

According to him, he has a dream to establish a company that helps students in the field of technology.

He said, “Another project I thought of is to gather IT people in their company, because there are times when companies want employees who are educated about technology. I would like to join them in the company that I will build and provide them with insurance, if the IT person has a problem at work or he is wronged, we will take care of him, or if he is replaced, we will appoint a replacement".

On the challenges he still has, Cyusa said that it is still a difficult issue to find someone to sit down and teach you how to operate these robots. He added that it is still new in Rwanda to make them, because it is common that even the used ones are imported.

Although he has taken this step to make a simple machine, he wants to make more extensive ones that will do more than what this one does. He couldn't do this alone, because he needed a team to help him as he kept coming back to it.

"For now, I need a group of people who are willing and willing to work together, who don't get discouraged because things are against us, so that we can make more robots, because I can't make more machines by myself," he said.

This machine is worth 70 thousand Frw. It has sensors, its heart [Mother Board], motors on its wheels and other things that help it to function properly”.

Cyusa Chaste, who is ready to expand his development with his colleagues, wants to create a large 'Screen' that will be used to guide this robot, so that it can guide a person where he is going, and then return to that 'Screen'.
