Sharafadeen Alli, a senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, is set to sponsor the second season of the ‘Flow with Dignity School Tour,’ a program aimed at educating 5,000 girls on menstrual hygiene and providing them with essential resources. The initiative, led by the Women for Greater Good Foundation, is in celebration of the 2024 International Day of the Girl Child.

This expanded program will focus on key areas such as menstrual hygiene and sex education, equipping young girls with the knowledge and confidence to navigate adolescence. The senator’s sponsorship demonstrates his commitment to improving the well-being and future opportunities for girls in his district.

As part of this year’s event, menstrual materials and educational handbooks will be distributed to support the girls' health and ensure they can continue their education without disruptions caused by their menstrual cycles. This initiative builds on the success of last year’s program, which reached 800 girls across the Oyo South Senatorial District, furthering the mission to empower young girls for a brighter future.
