Seattle Children’s Hospital has opened a Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic, offering a critical new resource for children and teens in need of immediate mental health support.

This clinic is the first of its kind in the Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho (WAMI) region, specifically designed to provide pediatric psychiatric care. It aims to assist families who require urgent mental health intervention but do not need emergency room services.

The center will serve children and teens aged 4 to 17, providing same-day in-person visits at the Seattle Children’s Magnuson campus, or virtual consultations for patients across Washington.
