The University of Essex has partnered with Beaconhouse International College to offer a variety of business, law, and technology courses across Pakistan, starting in September 2024. This transnational education initiative will reach students in cities like Islamabad, Faisalabad, and Lahore. David Briggs, Deputy Dean of Partnerships at the University of Essex, expressed excitement about providing high-quality education in Pakistan, highlighting the university’s global network and Beaconhouse’s respected reputation.
The partnership will allow students to pursue Essex programs at graduate and postgraduate levels at three new campuses. Beaconhouse, which operates in eight countries, will collaborate with Essex departments such as the Business School, Law School, and Computer Science. Safia Cassim, Beaconhouse's Country Head, called the partnership a significant milestone, emphasizing the shared goals of delivering quality education.
