Yale University
in the United States of America has decided to include in its courses that will
start next year, the bands of the singer Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter who
became famous as Beyoncé.
A course
dedicated to teaching university students about Beyoncé's bands and history is
called “Beyoncé Makes History: Black Radical Tradition, Culture, Theory &
Politics Through Music”.
It will focus on
his bands, from his self-titled album that came out in 2013, to his latest
single, 'Cowboy Carter', which made history at the Grammys.
This session will
return to Beyoncé, who will be talking about how this singer, songwriter and
musician; has been campaigning on black political issues and other issues
affecting society as a whole.
It will also talk
about his music, fashion and other intellectual property.
It's not the
first time that the singer's university has included her group in the courses
they have to teach, especially since the University of Texas and the University
of Michigan are among her classes.
Beyoncé is not
the first artist in the United States to be studied in high schools or
universities, as her peers such as Bob Dylan, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Issa Rae
and others have long been in the curriculum of various schools in the country.
